People Operations Manager

Job Title: People Operations Manager

Reports to: CEO/CCO

The Vision: Why We Exist
ANFISA Skin is an innovative leader in the skincare industry. We are seeking a meticulous, data-driven, and experienced People Operations Manager to join our dynamic team on-site in Spokane, Washington.

To scale that vision, we need a high-performance internal engine. We are seeking a Human Resources Officer who understands that operational drag kills creativity. You aren't here to be a "paper pusher"; you are here to build the machine that allows our brand to dominate. You will curate an ecosystem of efficiency where clear expectations create freedom.

The Mission: Guardian of Output

Your mission is simple: Remove friction so the team can execute.

You will act as the stabilizer for our growth—ensuring operational rigor never compromises our startup speed. You will institutionalize accountability through EOD reports, maintain payroll financial integrity, and build a culture where low stress is the byproduct of high performance. We believe that anxiety is cured by competence, and true wellness comes from knowing you are elite at your job.

The Scoreboard: Key Responsibilities

I. The Gatekeeper: Acquisition & Onboarding

  • High-Stakes Interviewing (A-Player Curation): Manage full-cycle recruitment with the rigor of a headhunter. You are the filter. You will aggressively screen for skill, will, and cultural alignment. We don’t just want bodies in seats; we want A-Players who are obsessed with results.
  • Speed-to-Value Onboarding: Design an Onboarding Ritual that immerses new hires immediately. Your goal is to shorten the time between "Day 1" and "First Value Delivered." A-Players want to win immediately; you give them the tools to do so.

II. The Engine: Performance Management & Operations

  • Orchestrate Quarterly Performance Sprints: A-Players crave feedback; C-Players hide from it. You will manage the Quarterly Review process to ensure every employee knows exactly where they stand, what their KPIs are, and how they are tracking against the company’s goals.
  • Own the "End of Day" (EOD) Ritual: In the lab, we count bottles. In shipping, we count boxes. The output is undeniable. But behind a screen, 'busy' often masquerades as 'productive.' You will enforce strict EOD reporting for all computer-based staff to solve this. Your job is to make the invisible visible. You will review these metrics daily to ensure our administrative payroll isn't just 'working hard,' but actually moving the needle.
  • Precision Payroll & Timeclock Management: You will manage timeclock adherence and process payroll with zero errors. You ensure that every minute paid is a minute of value delivered to the company.

III. The Shield: Risk Management & Standards

  • Uncompromising Compliance: Navigate the regulatory landscape (FMLA, EEOC, FLSA) with precision. You protect the downside so the company can focus on the upside.
  • Leverage Tech for Speed: You do not do manual data entry if a machine can do it. You utilize HRIS tools to automate workflows, creating a frictionless experience for the team.

Who You Are: The Ideal Candidate

  • The Epitome of Discretion: You are a vault. You handle sensitive data, payroll figures, and drug testing results with absolute confidentiality. Trust is your currency.
  • A Hunter for Talent: You know how to spot an A-Player from a mile away, and you know how to politely decline a B-Player. You refuse to lower the bar to fill a role quickly.
  • A Hyper-Organized Master of Order: You don’t just "organize"; you engineer outcomes. You love checklists, you love data, and you believe that chaos is the enemy of profit.
  • A Cultivator of High Standards: You are comfortable being the "bad guy" if it means protecting the standard. You aren't afraid to hold people accountable because you know that accountability is the highest form of care.

The Experience: You hold a Bachelor’s degree in HR, Psychology, or Business Administration. You have 2-4 years of proven experience in human resources.

Apply by emailing jobs@anfisaskin.com with a detailed resume and cover letter, and put the job title in the subject line.
